Wireless & TR Upgrades in Building 4000
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: The general contractor will be performing wireless and TR Upgrades in Building 4000. The contractor will be installing new data cabling and telecommunications equipment. Starting Monday, May 17th, the faculty side of the building will be without network connectivity. Please be advised all network access will be down for the entire building starting May 24 for the remaining duration of the impact. Moderate noise is to be expected.
Earthwork West of Bldg. 7100 and behind Bldg. 5600 off Service Rd.

Description: The contractor will be performing earthwork activities at (2) locations. Areas of work are noted on the associated map. Please be advised tractor, compactor, and concrete truck will be utilized. Moderate noise is to be expected.
Water Infiltration Testing at Campus Center

Description: In preparation for the new SLO Campus Center project, soil investigation contractor will mobilize and drill approximately 8 locations in the shaded area below for water infiltration testing. Please be advised that noise is to be expected.
Air-Balance Testing Bldgs. 4100, 4300, 4400, 6200, and 7100 Annex
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will be performing air-balance testing on the newly installed HVAC equipment on Buildings 4100, 4300, 4400, 6200, and 7100 Annex. Much of this work will take place on the rooftop of each building. Please be advised the contractor may access a few areas on the interior of the buildings in order to take air flow readings. Moderate noise levels may be heard at times.
Power Shutdown To Various Locations On SLO Campus

Description: Failing electrical switchgear and high-voltage runs on the SLO campus are being replaced. A majority of the buildings on the SLO campus will be without power on one or more Saturdays. All items requiring refrigeration must be relocated during the shutdown to avoid expiration. Please see below for the affected buildings and the associated day(s).
Parking Lot 10 Open For Use

Wired and Wireless Network Access Will Be Down Across Entire Campus

Soil Sample Drilling At Buildings 8000, 8100, 6200, 6600s & Education Drive

Description: Contractor will be drilling for soil samples in multiple locations within the shaded area on associated map. Please be advised that the equipment location will move throughout the day and may require slight detours to pedestrian traffic. Moderate noise is to be expected.
Slurry Seal & Striping Parking Lot 12
Location: North County
Date(s) in Effect: 4/6/21 – 4/8/21, 7am-5pm
Description: Contractor will be applying slurry seal and striping in Parking Lot 12. Vehicle and pedestrian access to Parking Lot 12 will be closed for duration of impact. Area of work is highlighted on associated map. Please use Parking Lot 11 as alternative parking. Please be advised that moderate noise levels may be heard at times.
Electrical Work At Building 6200
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractors will be replacing a failing electrical breaker in Building 6200. Please be advised power to Building 6200 will be shut off for the duration of impact (approximately 1 hr.). Moderate noise is to be expected.
