Description: Contractor will be performing fire alarm testing at the North County Instructional Building. Audible sirens and visual strobes throughout the entire building will be actuated until the system operation has been verified and inspection passed. SLO Campus Center – 4000 Complex Electrical Transformer Replacement

Description: Contractor will be replacing the electrical transformer within the 4000 Complex substation yard. During this time, power to the entire complex will be shut down. Please be sure to remove any refrigerated perishables before the work begins. The areas of impact are shown on the associated map.

SLO Campus Center – Campus Center Pole Mounted WAPs

Description: Contractor will be installing wireless access points around the perimeter of the new Campus Center building to establish exterior Wi-Fi coverage. Lifts and/or ladders will be utilized, and some access may be impeded due to equipment staging. Noise should be expected. The areas of impact are shown on the associated map.
SLO Campus Center – Furniture Install

Description: The contractor will remove the existing bus shelter on Chorro Valley Rd. Pedestrians are encouraged to use alternate routes as the sidewalk at the work site will be closed during the construction window. An active Bus Shelter is located on Romauldo Rd. between parking lots 3 and 4. Noise from power tools, heavy equipment, and contractor vehicles is expected.
