SLO Directory Wayfinding Install
Location: (Campus Wide) SLO Campus Directory Wayfinding

Description: Contractor will begin installing directory signage throughout SLO campus. This work will include demolition, pouring of concrete, and electrical terminations. Contractor will be accessing various buildings on campus and traffic cones will be used around the construction areas. Please be advised ADA pathways will remain open during construction. However, notice will be given if closures are required for equipment access. Noise is to be expected.
Building 4100 & 4600 Fire Alarm Testing
Location: (SLO) Buildings 4100 & 4600
Date(s) in Effect: September 29, 2023, 10am - 1pm
Description: Contractor will perform fire alarm testing in select areas of Building 4100 and 4600. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Please be advised audio and visual testing of the horn strobes will be heard.
NC Campus Center Signage
Location: (NCC) Campus Center Building N1000/N1100
Date(s) in Effect: September 21, 2023 – September 29, 2023, 7am - 4pm
Description: Contractor will be onsite installing interior and exterior building signage for the North County Campus Center. Please be advised ladders and lifting equipment will be utilized. Pedestrians should use caution in areas of installation. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Some noise is to be expected.
Bldg 4100 & 4600 Fire Alarm Termination
Location: (SLO) Building 4100 & 4600
Date(s) in Effect: September 14, 2023, 8am-4pm
Description: Johnson Controls will be onsite to make fire alarm terminations in Building 4100 fire panel and Building 4600 restrooms. Area of work is noted on the associated map. No audio or visual alarms will be tested at this time.
SLO Building 1200 Cabling
Location: (SLO) Building 1200 Cabling
Date(s) in Effect: September 11, 2023 – September 15, 2023, 7am-4pm
Description: Contractor will trench and lay underground conduit from Building 1200 to the flagpole area. Conduit and data cabling work will take place next to Building 1200. Please be advised pedestrian access to this area will be reduced for the duration of the work. However, weight room will remain open for use. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.
MEASURE L – Construction Alert
Location: (SLO) Building 6700
Date(s) in Effect: August 11, 2023, 7am – 4pm
Description: Contractor will perform excavating work and replace a portion of the site sewer piping. Please be advised Building 6700 restrooms and sink will be closed for the duration of this work. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.
MEASURE L – Construction Alert

Date(s) in Effect: August 8, 2023 – August 11, 2023; 7am – 4pm
Description: The contractor will be relocating the directional sign adjacent to Building N3100/N3200. During this time, the contractor will also be refinishing the signage concrete bases throughout campus. Please be advised that some pedestrian pathways may be impacted for the duration of this work. Noise is to be expected.
Asphalt Work at Admin Loop
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: The contractor will be patching a run of asphalt along the southwest side of Romauldo. Area of impact is noted on the associated map. Please be advised pedestrian access will be closed for the duration of this work. Noise and fumes are to be expected.
Storage Containers at Buildings N2400 & N2800
Location: North County Campus

Description: Three (3) 40ft. metal storage containers will be delivered to and staged at the North County Campus. Two (2) at the northwest side of Building N2400 and one (1) between Buildings N2400 and N2800. Please be advised pedestrian access will be partially obstructed. Area of impact is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.
Electrical Work at Room N1100 Lobby & Room N3130 Tutorial Center
Location: North County Campus

Description: Contractor will be installing new electrical outlets for new digital signage displays at rooms N1100 & N3130. Selective loss of power may occur. Noise is to be expected.
