SLO Campus Center Parking Lot 3 Concrete Pour

Description: The contractor will be pouring concrete for the new sidewalk being constructed at the northeast side of the campus center building. The contractor will use delineators to redirect traffic around the work zone. Noise is to be expected.



SLO Campus Center Building 3200 Library Electrical Monuments

Location: (SLO) Building 3200 - Library

Date(s) in Effect: February 26th – February 29th; 7am – 4pm

Description: Contractor will be performing electrical work in the southwest wing of the library. The scope of work consists of removing and recircuiting electrical floor monuments. The area of work will be taped off and inaccessible. Please be advised that moderate noise is to be expected.



SLO Campus Center Building 7300 Parking Lot 3 (Southeast Corner)

Location: (SLO) Parking Lot 3 (Southeast Corner)

Date(s) in Effect: February 22, 2024; 7AM – 3:30PM

Description: Contractor will be installing two (2) new outdoor wireless access points on building 7300. Delineators will be deployed to redirect impacted parking and traffic. Some noise is to be expected.



SLOCC Power Outage 5000 & 6000 Complex

Location: (SLO) 5000 & 6000 Complexes

Date(s) in Effect: February 16, 2024; 7:00am - 8:00am

Description: Contractor will be shutting down the power to the 5000 & 6000 complexes for approximately 30 minutes each beginning at 7:00am.

SLO Campus Center Building 7300 Data Racks

Location: (SLO) 7300 (CPAC) Telecom Room

Date(s) in Effect: February 5, 2024 – February 23, 2024

Description: Contractor will be installing new network and audio-visual racks in building 7300. This work will result in a complete building outage of the data network, WiFi, and VoIP systems for the duration.



SLO Campus Wayfinding & Signage (DSA)

Location: (SLO) Campus-Wide Wayfinding & Signage (DSA)

Date(s) in Effect: January 10, 2024 – February 23, 2024

Description: The contractor will begin installing campus I.D. building signs, street signs, and parking permit signs. All affected buildings/areas are highlighted in the associated map. The contractor will use cones to redirect pedestrian traffic around work zones when needed. Noise is to be expected.



North County Campus N2400 Classroom Interior Paint

Location: (NCC) N2400 Interior Classrooms

Date(s) in Effect: December 16, 2023 – January 8, 2023

Description: Contractor will perform interior painting in N2400 classrooms. Please be advised classrooms in N2400 will be inaccessible to students and staff, except for 2411. Interior painting in classroom 2411 will begin on December 18th, after the last class is held. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.



SLO Campus – 5000 & 6000 Complexes Switchgear

Location: (SLO) 5200/6100 Switchgear Replacement

Date(s) in Effect: December 18, 2023 – January 12, 2024

Description: Contractor will be performing switchgear installations within the 5000 and 6000 complexes. Both complexes will be without power for the duration of this installation. However, temporary power will be established for the Buildings 5200 and 5600-5900 only. Additionally, there will be a campus-wide power shutdown from December 26th to December 29th. The main areas of impact are noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.



SLO Campus – Parking Lot 6, near Building 1000 – Concrete Pour

Location: (SLO) Parking Lot 6

Date(s) in Effect: December 1, 2023; 7am - 4pm

Description: Contractor will perform concrete pour in Parking Lot 6, near Building 1000. Please be advised the area of work will be closed off with caution tape. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic may be interrupted during this time. However, the walkway will remain open. Noise is to be expected.
