Crane Work at Rooftop of Building 7100
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: A crane will be utilized to install new HVAC units at the rooftop of Building 7100. Please be advised heating & AC will be down in Building 7100 for the duration of this work. Area of work is noted on associate map. Noise is to be expected.
Heating & AC Shutoff at Building 6100
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 12/26/22 - 12/30/22, 7am-4pm
Description: Contractor will be replacing the existing heating coils. This work will take place in the attic room above Radio Studio (6121) and TV Control Room (6120A). Please be advised heating & AC will be down in Building 6100 for the duration of this work. Area of work is noted on associate map. Noise is to be expected.
Crane Work at Building 6800
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 11/17/22 – 11/22/22, 6am – 4pm
Description: The 6800 portable building will be removed from the SLO campus. A crane and semi-trucks will be employed to execute this removal. The work area is shown below and will be periodically closed throughout the impact duration. Noise is to be expected.
Electrical Work at 6000 Modular Buildings

Description: The contractor will remove the electrical service feed from Building 8000 to the 6000 Modular Building and install a new electrical feed from the 6300 transformer. Please be advised this work will require an electrical shut down for the duration of this work.
Telecom Work Campus-Wide
Location: North County Campus
Date(s) in Effect: 11/9/22 – 11/23/22, 6am – 4pm
Description: Contractor will be removing damaged analog phone lines and replacing them with new active lines. Work will be limited to telecom and elevator control rooms. Some noise is to be expected.
Demolition and Construction at Building 4300 Restrooms & Drinking Fountains
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will be demolishing and reconstructing the restrooms & drinking fountains in Building 4300. Please be advised intermittent water and electrical shutdowns will occur throughout the duration of the project. Faculty will be directed to the nearest operational restroom. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.
Extension Ladder Used at 5000 Complex

Asphalt Demolition at Building 6700
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: Saturday, 10/8/22, 7am-4pm
Description: The contractor will demo and remove a portion of the asphalt walkway between 6800 & 6600C for Building 6700 restroom addition project. Please be advised a portion of the walkway which is noted on the associated map below will be closed to traffic for the duration of this work. Noise is to be expected.
Chiller Install — Expect Electrical Shutdown
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 10/9/22, 7am-4pm
Description: Contractor will disconnect rented chillers and install new chillers in its place. Please be advised this work will require an electrical shutdown on Sunday, October 9, for approximately 2-4 hours, causing the emergency generator at Building 2800 Data Center to start and maintain power during the shutdown. The truck-mounted chiller will be transported off campus utilizing the service road adjacent to Parking Lot 5. The truck will be accompanied by a ground guide. Area of impact is noted on associated map.
