ECE Pre-Construction Activities

Description: On Friday December 21, 2018 the R & B Shultz Early Childhood Center project’s General Contractor will commence pre-construction activities including placing the temporary fencing, creating the laydown yard and construction entrance, placing the BMP measures, and placement of the construction trailer. This work will start at approximately 7:00 am Friday, December 21, 2018 and is anticipated to continue through Friday, January 18, 2019. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. Kinesiology Relocation Project Pathway Reconstruction

Description: The North County Campus Kinesiology Relocatable project’s construction personnel will be saw-cutting a portion of the existing pathway and placing new asphalt to meet ADA requirements. This work will be starting at 7:00 am Thursday, December 20, 2018 and completing Thursday, December 27, 2018. Please notify anyone that this work may impact. SLO Campus Data Center Sewer System Installation
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Wednesday, 12/19/18 through Monday, 1/21/19
Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Data Center project’s General Contractor will be installing the sewer system during the holiday break from December 19, 2018 to January 21, 2019. ADA path of travel will be affected to the east (see highlighted red area on the map), but will remain open and available for use to the west. Access to the parking lot will be unimpeded. This work will be starting at 7:00 am and completing by 5:00 pm each day. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. Gym, 1400 Restroom Closure
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: The Aquatics Center & 1000 Complex ADA Upgrades project’s construction personnel will be working in the Gym, 1400 Men's and Women's restrooms. The lobby restrooms will not be available Monday, 12/17/18, thru Friday, 01/18/19. Portable restrooms and a wash station will be available outside of the Gym, 1400 courtyard. Weight Room, 1200 Drinking Fountain Inaccessibility

Description: The Aquatics Center & 1000 Complex ADA Upgrades project’s construction personnel will be working on the drinking fountains in the Weight Room, 1200. Aquatics Center & 1000 Complex Planned Power Outage

Description: The Aquatics Center & 1000 Complex project’s construction personnel will be shutting down power to the 1000 Complex on Friday, 12/28/18. This power outage will occur on Friday, 12/28 from 7am-6pm and will affect Buildings 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, and 1400. Please plan accordingly. Please notify anyone that this work may impact. Kinesiology Modular Projects Construction Begins

Description: The North County Campus Kinesiology Modular project’s construction personnel will start grading, trenching, electrical installation, and relocating the existing modular to its new location. This work will begin at 7:00 am Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Building 1100 Locker Room Closure
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Monday, 11/05/18
Description: Construction will be complete in Building 1000 by the end of the day, Wednesday, 11/07/18. Please remove all belongings from Building 1100 on Thursday, 11/08/18, and Friday, 11/09/18; and move your items to the lockers in Building 1000. Construction will commence in Building 1100 on Monday, 11/12/18; and the locker room will be closed.
ALL LOCKERS AND RESTROOMS IN THE 1100 BUILDING WILL BE INACCESSIBLE BEGINNING MONDAY, 11/12/18. PLEASE REMOVE ALL PADLOCKS & PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM BUILDING 1100 ON OR BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY FRIDAY, 11/09/18.

Data Center Project Construction Start

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Data Center project’s General Contractor will begin construction of the Data Center Project on Monday, 10/15/18. While most activity will occur within the fenced construction area, there will be an increase in noise and construction traffic near Parking Lot 5. North County Campus Center Crane
Location: North County Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Monday 10/8/18
Description: On Monday, October 8, 2018 from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM the North County Campus Center’s construction personnel will have a crane in the area of the N1100 building’s cafeteria to lift equipment onto the roof of the building. The area adjacent to the cafeteria, indicated in yellow on the map, will be closed while this work is occurring. Construction delineators and personnel will be monitoring the area during this time.
