Noise and Access Obstructed at Chiller Yard
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will remove the temporary chiller at Chiller yard. The service road adjacent to Parking Lot 5 will be utilized to transport temp chiller. Please be advised vehicle & pedestrian access around this area will be obstructed for the duration of this work. The truck will be accompanied by a ground guide. Noise is to be expected.
Crane Work at Buildings 1400 & 1600
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will be utilizing a crane to remove storage containers from the upper pool deck and the pathway between the pool fencing and gym. Access to this area will be prohibited for the duration of the removal. Noise is to be expected.
New Door Installation at Building 4300 Women’s Restroom

Description: Contractor will install a new door in women’s restroom at Building 4300. Please be advised restroom will be closed for the duration of work. Noise is to be expected.
Construction Zone Fencing Installation
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 4/24/23 – 5/2/23, 7am – 5pm
Description: In preparation for the new SLO Campus Center project, the contractor will be mobilizing and installing temporary fencing around the construction zone. This is anticipated to be a two-year construction project and ALL areas shaded below will be closed, including Parking Lot 4, for the duration of construction activities. Noise is to be expected.
TR Renovations in Building N2400 & N2800
Location: North County Campus
Date(s) in Effect: 5/22/23 – 8/7/23, 7am-4pm
Description: The contractor will be performing TR renovations in Building N2400 & N2800. All offices in Building N2400 will be painted. Please be advised all telecommunications, IT, and internet access will be down for the duration of this work. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.
New Cabling Install in Building 3300
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 3/21/23 – 3/24/23, 7am – 4pm
Description: Contractor will be installing new cabling both overhead and below the raised floor in Building 3300. Several ceiling and floor tiles will need to be removed and reinstalled. There will be limited access for the duration of the work. Some noise is to be expected.
Power Shutdown at Chiller Yard & Data Center
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 3/24/23, 7am-2pm
Description: Contractor will disconnect the temporary chiller and make final connections to the new chillers. Please be advised power will be shut down at the chiller yard as well as the Data Center for the duration of this work. A back-up generator will provide power to the data center during this outage. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.
Electrical Work in Building 6300 (Room 6304)
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will be performing electrical work in 6304 classroom. Please be advised lighting will be unavailable for the duration of this work. Noise is to be expected.
Fire Alarm Testing at Buildings 4100, 4200, and 4300
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will perform fire alarm testing in Buildings 4100, 4200 and 4300. Please be advised audible/visuals will be set off at all three buildings. Restrooms at each of these locations will be closed for a short period while testing is being performed. Area of work is noted on the associated map.
Roof Repairs on Building 6100
Location: San Luis Obipos
Date(s) in Effect: 3/1/23 – 3/3/23, 6am-5pm
Description: Contractor will be performing roof repairs at two locations and remove debris from a third location on Building 6100. Please be advised walkways noted on the associated map will be partially closed. ADA pathways will be maintained to the fullest extent possible. remove roofing, replace necessary substrate, and reinstall roofing. Loud noise is to be expected due to hand and power tools being used.
