SLO Campus Power Shut Off
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: Cuesta College will be shutting power off campus wide to make a critical repair on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. As with any power shut down there will be no ventilation running in buildings and no power for refrigerators. Please remove any items of concern from refrigerators before this planned shutdown. Power is scheduled to be restored by the end of the day.
SLO Instructional Building Transformer Pad Installation
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be installing rebar and placing concrete for the new transformer pad on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 through Thursday, September 1, 2016. Construction personnel will work with the public to provide access through the area north of the construction site adjacent to the fence line (see area highlighted in yellow). Please notify anyone that this work may affect.
San Luis Obispo Instructional Building Steel Installation
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Monday, 8/29 through Monday, 10/31
Description: The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will begin delivering and erecting structural steel on Monday, August 29, 2016 through Monday, October 31, 2016. The delivery trucks will be entering and exiting the construction zone through Parking Lot 5. The erection of the structural steel will produce construction noise higher than usual as well as an odor due to the welding of steel members. Please notify anyone that this work may affect.
SLO Instructional Building Storm Drain Line Installation

Description: The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be installing storm drain lines currently outside the construction zone on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. The fence will be moved temporarily to prevent public access to the highlighted area. Please notify anyone that this work may impact.
SLO Instructional Building Gas Shut Off

Description: The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be turning off the gas to the 2000 Complex beginning Thursday, August 4 through Friday, August 5, 2016. The buildings that will be temporarily impacted include, buildings 2100, 2200, 2300, 2400, and 2500. Please notify anyone in your area that this work may affect.
North County Campus Center Concrete Footing
Location: North County Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Friday, 7/22 through Monday 7/25
Description: North County Campus Center project’s construction personnel will be placing concrete for the building pad footings within the construction zone. This work is scheduled to begin at 6:00am Friday, 07/22/16 through Monday, 07/25/16. There will be increased truck traffic on Buena Vista Drive, and some equipment noise may be noticeable during this time. Please notify anyone in your area that this process may impact.
SLO Instructional Building Concrete Placement

Description: UPDATE - The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be placing concrete within the construction zone on Monday, June 27, 2016. There will be multiple concrete trucks entering through Parking Lot #5 and exiting onto Chorro Valley Road. Please notify anyone that this work may impact.
SLO Instructional Building Concrete Pour
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: Beginning Thursday, June 9th and continuing through Monday, June 13th, the San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be placing concrete outside the fenced construction area shown in yellow on the attached map. There will be concrete trucks entering through the auto body (Bldg. 4600) parking lot and will require some temporary parking stall closures. Additionally, a dump truck will be in the areas shown to off haul spoils. Please notify anyone that this work may affect.
North County Campus Center Utility Potholing
Location: North County Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Monday, 5/31/16 through Thursday, 6/2/16
Description: North County Campus Center construction personnel will be potholing to locate existing utilities outside the construction fence near Parking Lot 11. The area of impact is highlighted in yellow on the map. This work is scheduled to start Monday, 05/31/16 with an anticipated completion date of Thursday, 06/02/16. Areas adjacent to construction may experience increased noise and dust. Parking Lot 11 will have reduced parking next to the area of impact and some walkways may be encroached. Please notify anyone in your area that this process may impact.

Description: San Luis Obispo Instructional Building construction personnel will be installing new underground electrical lines outside of the construction zone. The area of impact is highlighted in yellow and will be blocked-off with orange construction fence throughout the duration of the work. Areas adjacent to construction may experience increased noise and dust. The work is scheduled to start on Monday, 5/23/16 with an anticipated completion date of Friday, 6/10/16.
