Asphalt Work Near Buildings 7500 and 9100

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Fiber Star contractor will be prepping then patching back asphalt at the walkways near the 7500 and 9100 buildings. Please be advised that there may be some odors and moderate equipment noise noticeable during this time. The contractor will start at approximately 7:00 am on 10/22/19 and be complete by 3:30 pm 10/22/19. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. Building 2600 External Wireless Access Point Installation
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus 2000 Tech Upgrades project’s General Contractor will be completing work associated with external wireless access points and will have a lift on site to reach the install area on the side of building 2600. The crew will also need access to room 2757 to run cable to the wireless access point. The area to be affected by this work will be cordoned off as off-limits to public access. The area is highlighted in yellow on the associated map. This work will be starting on Friday, October 18th at approximately 7:00am and be complete by 4:00pm. 2000 Complex Door Hardware and Door Replacement Work

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus 2000 Complex ADA Upgrades project’s General Contractor will be completing work on door hardware and door replacement at the 2000 Complex Buildings. During this time the doors will be operational during business hours with minor exceptions. Faculty, students, staff, and guests will be directed to other entrances if necessary. The area is highlighted in yellow on the accompanying map. The work will occur on Saturday, October 19th beginning at approximately 7am and continue as night work through November 8th, 2019. Overhead Drilling in Building 2200 Crawl Space

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Fiber Star project’s general contractor will core one (1) hole in the electrical room overhead in the crawl space in building 2200. Please be advised that the equipment being used will have moderate noise levels at times during the work activity. The work will start on Wednesday, October 16th at approximately 7:00am and be complete by 8:00am. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. Building 2400 Temporary Stair Closure for Painting

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus 2000 Complex ADA Upgrades project’s General Contractor will be completing painting work at the stairs of the 2400 building. During this time the stairs will be closed to public access while they are painted. Faculty, students, staff, and guests will be directed to other entrances. The area is highlighted in yellow on the accompanying map. The work will occur on Tuesday, October 15th beginning at approximately 7am and again on Saturday, October 19th beginning at approximately 7am. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations Installation

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations project’s general contractor will be setting up temporary fencing on the North end of parking lot 2A. The contractor will proceed with saw cutting, trenching, and placing conduit for new charging stations in parking lot 2A. Once the conduit work is completed and backfilled, the contractor will begin installation of the new charging stations and pull new wire. Moderate noise levels are expected with the construction activities. The work will begin on Friday, September 27th and be completed by November 15th. 2600/2700 Building Roofing Work

2200 Building Electrical Panel Work – Power Outage

R&B Schultz Early Childhood Center Fencing Relocation

Description: On Monday, July 22, 2019 the R & B Shultz Early Childhood Center project’s General Contractor will relocate the construction fencing in front of the Learning Resource Center to complete work on the Early Childhood Center parking lot. This will require closing a section of the sidewalk adjacent to Building N3100/3200. Access to the building will remain open.
