SLO Instructional Building Stair Tread Repair
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be repairing the limestone treads at both the interior and exterior stairs beginning April 2nd and going through the end of the week. The contractor will be repairing the exterior stairs beginning the first part of this week and will then move on to the interior stairs once completed. While repairs are being made to the exterior stairs, there will be access to the second floor through the interior stairs or elevator. While repairs are being made to the interior stairs, there will be access to the second floor through the exterior stairs and elevator. Please notify anyone that this work may impact. SLO Campus Sewer Line Replacement
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Sewer Line Replacement project is scheduled to begin on Thursday, 03/29/18 with an anticipated completion date of Sunday, 04/08/18. Construction personnel will be removing and replacing a sewer line where indicated on the map. During this time, there may be an increase in noise, dust, construction traffic. SLO Campus Aquatics & Data Center Staging Area Winterization Project

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Aquatics & Data Center Staging Area Winterization project is scheduled to commence on 04/02/18 with an anticipated completion date of 04/08/18. This work will occur between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday through Sunday. During this time you should expect increased truck traffic, dust, and noise from the construction equipment in the area indicated on the map. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. North County Campus Fire Alarm Testing
Location: North County Campus

Description: The North County Campus Center project’s construction personnel will be periodically testing the fire alarm system beginning Monday, 4/2/18, and continue throughout the week. Testing of the audible alarms at the Campus Center may be heard through-out the campus. Please notify anyone that this work may impact.
Aquatics Center Women’s Locker Room Closure

Description: The Aquatic Center & 1000 Complex ADA project’s construction personnel will be adding a temporary partition wall in building 1100 from Monday, April 2, 2018 through Sunday, April 8, 2018. The women’s locker room in building 1100 will be CLOSED during this time. Please use the temporary women’s locker room identified in building 1000. THE LOCKERS IN THE WOMEN’S LOCKER ROOM WILL BE INACCESSIBLE FROM 4/2/18-4/8/18. PLEASE REMOVE ALL PADLOCKS & PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM BLDG 1100 ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY 03/30/18. SLO Instructional Building Stump Grinding

Description: The San Luis Obispo Instructional Building project’s construction personnel will be removing the construction fencing beginning Tuesday, January 9, 2018. The parking area highlighted on the associated map will remain closed due for asphalt repair and seal coating between Thursday, January 10-15, 2018 and will be accessible to faculty and staff on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. During this timeframe you should expect increased noise from equipment operation and backup alarms, as well as odors from hot oil, asphalt and slurry materials. Romauldo Road Asphalt Overlay Project
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Tuesday, 12/12/17 through Friday, 1/12/18
Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Romauldo Road Asphalt Overlay project is scheduled to start on 12/26/17 with an anticipated completion date of 01/12/18. Work to be performed includes grinding of existing damaged asphalt, installation of paving fabric, asphalt overlay and striping on the roads highlighted in yellow on the map. In addition, Hollister Road will be slurry sealed and striped. Work will occur between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday through Saturday. During this timeframe you should expect intermittent road closures, parking lot closures, traffic control and flagging, increased truck and equipment traffic, increased noise from grinding, equipment operation and backup alarms, as well as odors from hot oil, asphalt and slurry materials.
UPDATE:
• Romauldo Road, Education Drive, and Cuesta College Road and Parking Lot 4 are scheduled to be CLOSED Thursday 1/11/18 and intermittently on Friday 1/12/18 for the completion of striping.
• Hollister Road is scheduled to be reduced to one way traffic for slurry seal installation on Thursday 01/11/18 and Friday 1/12/18 for striping. One Way Traffic Control will be implemented with Vehicles ENTERING the campus on Hollister Road and EXITING the via the Education Drive Exit.
• Parking Lots 1A, 2A, 3 and 4 are scheduled to be CLOSED for the duration of the project. Parking lot 5 is OPEN for your use.
Detours, traffic Control devices, signage, and flaggers will be implemented to provide access through and around the campus at all times. Romauldo Road, portions of Cuesta College Road, and Education Drive Circle will be closed intermittently for grinding, paving and striping operations.
