Temporary Power Generator Installation
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: 12/10/19 through 12/16/19, 6AM-3PM
Description: Temporary power generators will be installed in the locations highlighted in yellow on the associated map. Fencing will be installed and the area will be off-limits to the public. Removal of fencing is planned for the week of January 13, 2020. Some noise from the equipment is expected.
1000 Complex Roof/HVAC Replacement
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: 12/09/19 and 12/11/19, 7AM-3PM
Description: The existing HVAC units on the gym roof will be removed and replaced. A crane will be utilized on both days. Some noise from the equipment is expected. Please be advised the area highlighted in the associated map will be taped off and off limits to the public. There will still be access to the gym utilizing the doors on the north side of the building.
Roof Leak Repairs
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: 12/05/19 through 12/13/19 7AM-4PM
Description: Several of the roofs on the SLO campus are in need of immediate attention to address roof leaks. Contractors will be working in the locations noted on the associated map at some point during the work window.
Data Center Fiber Pulling
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Friday, 11/15/19
Description: Construction personnel will be pulling fiber from data room 3318 in Building 3300 to data room 3404 in Building 3400. The contractor may utilize a ladder if necessary to access the ceiling tiles to verify path. There will be no impact to classes or students.
2000 Complex General Work
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: Friday, 11/15/19 11AM – 6PM
Description: Construction personnel will be working in the areas highlighted in the associated map. Building 2100: The contractor will be working in the telecommunication room. There will be no impact to classes or students. Building 2400: The contractor will be utilizing a lift to grout roof tiles on the building. The area impacted will be off limits to the public, access into the building will not be impacted. Some noise from the equipment is expected.

Description: Construction personnel will be working in the areas highlighted in the associated map. Building 2100: The contractor will be working in the telecommunication room. There will be no impact to classes or students. Building 2400: The contractor will be utilizing a lift to grout roof tiles on the building. The area impacted will be off limits to the public, access into the building will not be impacted. Some noise from the equipment is expected.

Description: Construction personnel will be pulling fiber overhead in Building 1000 from the electrical room to the equipment room. The contractor will be utilizing a ladder in corridor 1019 to access the ceiling panel.
Data Center Fiber Pulling
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Thursday, 11/07/19 7:00AM - 3:00PM
Description: Construction personnel will be pulling fiber underground from the new Data Center to the communications room in Buildings 2100 and 7300. Building 7300 (7am-12pm): Cable will also be pulled overhead in room 7309 and the women’s lobby restroom. The women’s lobby restroom will be closed for brief period of time while construction personnel is working overhead. There may be minimal impacts around the area of work highlighted in the associated map.
Building 1200 HVAC Equipment Maintenance
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Monday, 11/04/19 through Tuesday 11/05/19 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Description: General Contractor will be performing maintenance on HVAC equipment located on the roof of Building 1200. There will be no major impact to use and access of the building.
Building 2400 Roof Tile Replacement
Location: San Luis Obispo Campus
Date(s) in Effect: Friday, 11/01/19 11:00AM - 6:00PM
Description: Roof tiles will be replaced on Building 2400. The affected area will be cordoned off and off limits to the public. Access and use to Building 2400 will remain open. Please be advised that moderate noise will be heard.
