HVAC Work At Building 7100 Annex (Rm 7107)

Description: Contractors will begin demoing existing HVAC equipment and installing new HVAC on Building 7100 Annex. Please be advised there will be no heating or cooling in Room 7107 for duration of impact. Please be advised that moderate noise levels may be heard at times.
Fiber Optic Cable Work In Bldgs. 5100 and 5400

Description: The contractor will be pulling new fiber optic cable to Buildings 5100, and 5400. During this time, the new fiber will be terminated at the Data Center and old fiber removed. Please be advised that moderate noise levels may be heard at times.
Ceiling Conduit Work At LRC Electrical Room to Server Room
Location: North County Campus

Description: Contractor will be core drilling the block walls above ceilings. Placement work of ceiling conduit running from Learning Resource Center Electrical Room to Server Room will be performed. Please be advised offices & classrooms impacted are as follows: N3121, N3127, N3129, N3129, N3130, N3133, N3134, N3135, and N3151. Moderate noise may be heard at times.
Tile & Concrete Work At Bldg. 5400/5100
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will be removing tile and concrete and placing new concrete at the entrance to the 5400/5100 Buildings. Area of Impact is highlighted in the map below. Please be advised that intermittent noise is to be expected.
HVAC Air Flow Readings In Building 2500

Description: Contractor will be performing pre-read testing on the HVAC equipment for Building 2500. This work will consist of accessing rooms and taking air flow readings at HVAC registers. Please be advised that moderate noise levels may be heard at times.
HVAC Work On Building 4100

Description: Contractors will begin work on Building 4100. This work will consist of demoing existing HVAC equipment and installing new HVAC. The work will also include removal and reinstallation of electrical equipment. Please be advised there will be no power, heating or cooling in Building 4100 for duration of impact. Please be advised that moderate noise levels may be heard at times.
Power Shutdown to Various Locations On SLO Campus

Description: Failing electrical switchgear and high-voltage runs on the SLO campus are being replaced. A majority of the buildings on the SLO campus will be without power on one or more Saturdays. All items requiring refrigeration must be relocated during the shutdown to avoid expiration. Please see below for the affected buildings and the associated day(s).
Walkway Closed Adjacent to Schwartz Learning Resource Center (LRC)

Applying Seal Coat To Parking Lot 11
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 2/22/21 – 3/1/21, 7am-4pm
Description: The general contractor will be applying a seal coat to Parking Lot 11 and the route to Parking Lot 10. Vehicle and pedestrian access to these areas (highlighted in red below) will be closed for duration of impact. Please use Parking Lot 10 or Lot 12 as alternative parking. Parking Lot 10 will be accessible from Buena Vista Dr. The bus stop will be temporarily relocated to Parking Lot 12 for duration of impact. Please be advised that moderate noise levels may be heard.
