UPDATED: Restroom Renovations at Building 7100
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 3/24/22 – 6/10/22, 7am-4pm
Description: Contractor will be renovating the men’s and women’s restrooms at Building 7100 and replacing an exterior drinking fountain. Area of work is noted on associated map. Please be advised restrooms will be out of service for the duration of impact. A 40 yard roll off bin will be placed in the landscaped area to the west of Building 7100. Noise is to be expected. See laydown plan below for further detail.
UPDATED: Drinking Fountain Replacements at Building 1400
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 3/22/22 – 5/27/22, 7am-4pm
Description: Contractor will be replacing four drinking fountains. This work will be performed in two phases. The two drinking fountains located in the Gym will be replaced, then the two remaining drinking fountains located in the lobby will be replaced. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Please be advised, a 30 yard roll off bin will be placed in the laydown area to the west of Building 1400. Pedestrian traffic will not be impeded. Noise is to be expected. See laydown area below for further detail.
Roof Work at Building 5100
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date(s) in Effect: 3/14/22 – 4/1/22, 6am-4pm
Description: Contractor will be removing & replacing a portion of the existing roof at Building 5100. Area of work is noted on associated map. Work zone/ladder access point will be taped off. Please be advised pedestrian path will be rerouted. A section of pathway will remain open to allow for ADA access. Restrooms in Building 5100 will be closed & Building 5400 restrooms will remain open. Noise is to be expected.
HVAC Work on Roof of Building 4400
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will run control wiring to the multizone HVAC unit on the roof of Building 4400 and reprogram the exterior lighting controls. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.
Vacuum Vehicle Work at Buildings 2100, 2300, and 2600
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will be onsite with a vacuum vehicle to investigate and repair a possible water leak. Please be advised this work may impact pedestrian walkway. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.
New Firewall Installation Campus-Wide
Location: San Luis Obispo & North County Campus

Description: The Information Technology Department will be installing a new Firewall. Please be advised this work will cause intermittent and complete network outages at both the SLO and NC campuses for the duration of impact. Network access will be restored upon installation completion.

Description: Contractor will be onsite installing wireless access points along the new central campus walkway and bus stop at Parking Lot 10. This work will not affect campus network and should not impede pedestrian walkway. Area of work is highlighted in Red on the associated map.
Demolition Work Around Building 6300
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Demolition work will be taking place around Building 6300. Contractor will be using a lift to remove roof tiles and replace roofing insulation at Building 6300. Area of work is noted on associated map. Please be advised pedestrian access around this area will be obstructed for the duration of impact. Noise is to be expected.
