SLO Campus Center Buildings 5200 HVAC Crane Pick

Location: (SLO) Building 5200

Date(s) in Effect: June 28th, 2024; 8am to 4pm

Description: Contractor will be utilizing a crane to install HVAC equipment on the roof of building 5200. The area of impact is noted on the associated map. Noise and traffic from construction vehicles are to be expected.



SLO Campus Center Power Outage

Location: (SLO) Campus-Wide Power Outage

Date(s) in Effect: Wednesday; June 19th, 2024; 6am to 6pm

Description: Contractor will be programming and testing the vacuum fault interrupter system at the 12kV main electrical switchgear equipment. To perform this work, the power to the entire campus will be shut off.



SLO Campus Center Fire Hydrant Relocation

Location: (SLO) Campus-Wide Water Service Interruption

Date(s) in Effect: Wednesday; June 19th, 2024; 6am to 6pm

Description: Contractor will be installing a new fire hydrant near the administration loop at the front of the campus. To perform this work, the water service to the entire campus will be shut off. The area of impact is noted on the associated map. Noise and traffic from construction vehicles are to be expected.



SLO Campus Center Buildings 5100 (Crane) and 5200 (HVAC)

Location: (SLO) Buildings 5100 and 5200

Date(s) in Effect: Friday, June 14th, 2024; 8am – 4pm

Description: Contractor will be utilizing a 40-ton crane to install HVAC equipment on the roof of building 5100 and remove HVAC equipment from building 5200. The area of impact is noted on the associated map. Noise and traffic from construction vehicles are to be expected.



SLO Campus Center 3300 4100 4400 Classroom Updates

Location: (SLO) Buildings 3300, 4100, & 4400

Date(s) in Effect: May 20, 2024 – August 2, 2024; 6am – 4pm.

Description: Contractor will be starting construction in classrooms 3306 – 3313, 4110 – 4118, and 4402 – 4405. The scope of work includes carpet, paint, ceiling tile, and light fixture updates. Power to these rooms will be impacted for the duration of the project. Noise is to be expected.



SLO Campus Center 7300 Leak Repair ConAlert

Location: (SLO) Building 7300 Water Leak Repair

Date(s) in Effect: May 21, 2024; 7am – 2pm.

Description: Contractor will be shutting off the water service to building 7300 to repair a leak. All restrooms and faucets will be out of service for the duration of the work. Please utilize the facilities within the 7100 building.



SLO Campus Center Cuesta College Rd. Pedestrian Flatwork

Location: (SLO) Cuesta College Rd

Date(s) in Effect: May 20, 2024 – June 7, 2024

Description: In preparation for the new SLO Campus Center project, the contractor will mobilize, demo existing pedestrian flatwork, and pour a new drive approach entrance for the Campus Center upgrades to Parking Lot 4. At the same time the contractor will demo a portion of the existing west Education Drive Loop pedestrian flatwork and reinstall new concrete sidewalk and ADA Access.



SLO Campus Center Parking Lot 3 Drive Aisle

Location: (SLO) Parking Lot 3

Date(s) in Effect: May 6th, 2024 – June 7th, 2024

Description: Contractor will be demolishing and installing a new concrete drive approach and asphalt paving in the west drive aisle of parking lot 3. The impacted area will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the duration. Access to parking lot 3 will be available via the east entrance only.



SLO Campus Center Building 5400 HVAC

Location: (SLO) Building 5400

Date(s) in Effect: Tuesday; May 7, 2024; 8am to 12pm

Description: Contractor will be utilizing a 40-ton crane to remove HVAC equipment from the roof of building 5400. The area of impact is noted on the associated map. Pedestrian access will be obstructed, but pathways around the work zone will be available. Noise and traffic from construction vehicles are to be expected.



SLO Campus Center Building 7500 Trunk Line

Location: SLO Campus

Date(s) in Effect: April 29, 2024 – May 3, 2024

Description: Contractor will be removing and replacing a telephone trunk line that runs from building 3100 to building 7500. This work will require the contractor to access multiple underground vaults along the path. Pedestrian access should not be impacted. Some noise is to be expected.
