SLO Campus Center 4000 Complex – Fire Alarm Upgrade

Description: Contractor will be performing fire alarm upgrades by replacing select devices throughout the 4000 Complex. Testing of these devices will follow installation. Visual strobes and audible horns should be expected. The area of impact is noted on the associated map.
SLO Campus Center – Exterior Benches

Description: The contractor will perform surface restoration on the exterior concrete benches where the existing anti-graffiti coating has begun to delaminate and flake. The scope of work includes pressure washing and sanding the bench surfaces prior to application of a new protective coating. Minor noise is to be expected. The area impacted is noted on the associated map.
North County Campus Instructional Building – Fire Alarm Testing

Description: Contractor will be performing fire alarm testing at the North County Instructional Building. Audible sirens and visual strobes throughout the entire building will be actuated until the system operation has been verified and inspection passed. SLO Campus Center – 4000 Complex Electrical Transformer Replacement

Description: Contractor will be replacing the electrical transformer within the 4000 Complex substation yard. During this time, power to the entire complex will be shut down. Please be sure to remove any refrigerated perishables before the work begins. The areas of impact are shown on the associated map.

Description: Contractor will be onsite to conduct fire alarm testing at the 4000 and 6000 complexes. During this time, horns and strobes should be expected throughout both complexes. The areas of impact are noted on the associated map.
SLO Campus Center – Campus Center Pole Mounted WAPs

Description: Contractor will be installing wireless access points around the perimeter of the new Campus Center building to establish exterior Wi-Fi coverage. Lifts and/or ladders will be utilized, and some access may be impeded due to equipment staging. Noise should be expected. The areas of impact are shown on the associated map.

Description: Contractors will remove the construction fencing around the new Campus Center building on March 23rd.
