SLO Campus 1000 Complex Scheduled Power Outage

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Description: The Aquatics Center & 1000 Complex ADA Upgrades project’s construction personnel will be installing a new electrical panel which will require them to shut down the power to the 1200 building and 1600 pool area on Friday, July, 20, 2018 and to the 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, and 1600 buildings on Saturday, July 21, 2018. 1000 Complex Roofing Material Delivery

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Friday 7/13/18

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus 1000 Complex Roofing/HVAC project’s construction personnel will be delivering roofing materials to buildings 1000 and 1300. This delivery will increase the vehicle traffic in and around parking lots 5 & 6. This work will be starting at 7:00 am and completing by 4:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2018. Ansul System Testing on North County Campus

Location: North County Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Monday 6/18/18

Description: The North County Campus Center project’s construction personnel will be testing the Ansul system located in the Kitchen Serving Area from 7:00 AM through 4:00 PM on Monday, 6/18/18. Although, we do not anticipate audible or visual alarms to be activated, it is possible that they will be seen and heard throughout the campus during this time. HVAC Unit Removal from 1000 and 1300 Buildings

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Friday 6/15/18

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus 1000 Complex Roofing/HVAC project’s construction personnel will be removing the HVAC units from the 1000 and 1300 buildings on Friday, June 15, 2018 beginning at 7AM and continuing throughout the day. The 1000 building will be inaccessible to faculty and staff while the crane is removing the unit from the roof. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. 1000s Complex Roofing and HVAC Replacement – No Parking

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Monday 6/11/18 through Friday 11/9/18

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus 1000s Complex Roof & HVAC Replacement project is scheduled to begin on 06/11/18 with an anticipated completion date of 11/09/18. Construction personnel will be removing and replacing the roofs and HVAC units on the 1000 and 1300 buildings. During this time, the parking stalls on the east side of the 1000 building will be unavailable. Please notify all parties that this work may impact. Parking Lot 10 Resealing

Location: North County Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Monday, 6/4/18 through Friday 6/8/18

Description: Construction personnel will be resealing Parking Lot 10 on the North County Campus beginning Monday, June 4, 2018. This work is expected to continue through Friday, June 8, 2018. There may be fumes from the asphalt, dust, and equipment noise during this time. Please use Parking Lot 11 during this time, and notify anyone in your area that this work may impact. Building 1000 and Parking Lot 6 Closure

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Monday 5/21/18 through Friday 10/5/18

Description: Building 1000 and a portion of Parking Lot 6 will be closed for construction from Monday, May 21, 2018 through Friday, October 5, 2018. Please use the temporary locker room identified in Building 1100. Athletic Trainers currently located in Building 1000 will be temporarily relocated to Building 1100, room #1100 (1100-1100).

ALL LOCKERS AND RESTROOMS IN THE 1000 BUILDING WILL BE INACCESSIBLE FROM WEDNESDAY, 5/21/18 THROUGH MONDAY, 10/5/18 PLEASE REMOVE ALL PADLOCKS & PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM BUILDING 1000 ON OR BEFORE SATURDAY, 5/19/18.

SLO Campus Aquatics Center Closure & 1000 ADA Upgrades

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Monday, 5/7/18 through Friday, 5/31/19

Description: The San Luis Obispo Campus Aquatic Center & 1000 Complex ADA upgrades project is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 7, 2018 and the Aquatics Center pool will be closed beginning Saturday, May 5, 2018.

There will be increased noise, truck traffic, dust, and construction personnel for the duration of this project.

Ansul Pull-Station Alarm System Testing

Location: North County Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Wednesday, 5/9/18 from 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM

Description: The North County Campus Center project’s construction personnel will be testing the Ansul pull-station alarm system on Wednesday, 5/9/18. This will require testing of the audible alarms at the Campus Center and may be heard throughout the campus. Please notify anyone that this work may impact.



SLO Campus Women’s Locker Room Closure

Location: San Luis Obispo Campus

Date(s) in Effect: Wednesday 5/16/18 through Thursday 5/17/18

Description: Building 1100 Women’s Locker Room will be closed from Wednesday, May 16, 2018 through Thursday, May 17, 2018 for construction. Please use the temporary women’s locker room identified in building 1000.

THE LOCKERS IN THE WOMEN’S LOCKER ROOM WILL BE INACCESSIBLE FROM WEDNESDAY, 5/16/18 – THURSDAY, 5/17/18.

PLEASE REMOVE ALL PADLOCKS & PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM BUILDING 1000 ON OR BEFORE TUESDAY, 5/15/18.
