Test and Balance of New HVAC at Building 6300

Description: Contractor will be performing Test and Balance of the new HVAC systems. Please be advised the contractor will be accessing interior areas of Building 6300. Area of work is noted on associated map. Moderate noise is to be expected.



Replacing Overhead Doors at Building 4200

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 7/18/22 - 8/5/22, 7am-4pm

Description: Contractor will be replacing overhead doors at Building 4200. Please be advised pedestrian walkway in front of the overhead doors will be affected for the duration of project. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.



Drinking Fountains at Softball Field

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 7/18/22 – 7/22/22, 7am-4pm

Description: Contractor will mobilize and demo the existing drinking fountains and install new concrete pads. Please be advised drinking fountains will be unavailable for the duration of this work. Area of work is noted on the associated map. Moderate noise is to be expected.



Concrete Demolition at Building 6300

Location: San Luis Obispo

Description: Contractor will demo the existing concrete masonry wall at the Southwest corner of Building 6300. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.



Roof Work at 5000’s Complex

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 7/15/22, 7am-4pm

Description: Contractor will be performing roofing substrate investigation. Work will involve spot demolition of multiple areas of the 5000 complex rooftops. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.



Sitework Improvements at Building 7500

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 7/11/22 - 8/31/22, 7am-4pm

Description: Contractor will be performing sitework improvements. Please be advised that vehicle and pedestrian access to the West entrance of Building 7500 will be obstructed for the duration of impact. The rear entrance off of Chorro Valley Road will remain accessible. Area of this work is noted on the associated map. Noise is to be expected.



HVAC Crane Work at Building 7100

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 7/13/22 6am-4pm

Description: A crane will be utilized at the south end of Building 7100 to load HVAC equipment onto the rooftop. Please be advised pedestrian access around this area will be obstructed for the duration of impact. Area of work is noted on associated map. Noise is to be expected.

Asphalt Work Between Buildings 6200 & 6300 in Parking Lot 3

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 6/15/22 -7/1/22, 7am-4pm

Description: Contractor will begin asphalt paving between Buildings 6200 and 6300, followed by striping and concrete patch work in Parking Lot 3. Please be advised the location route indicated below will be impacted with construction equipment. Noise is to be expected.



Directional Boring for C.O.E. Fiber Run

Location: San Luis Obispo

Date(s) in Effect: 6/13/22 – 8/31/22, 6am-5pm

Description: Contractor will begin directional boring on the County of Education (C.O.E) side through July 7th. Please be advised the south-west side of teleplex building will be used as a laydown yard. Contractor will begin on-campus boring July 8th through August 9th. Pulling and splicing fiberoptic cable work will begin immediately after boring work is completed and will extend until August 31st. During this phase, contractor will also splice fiberoptic cable into bldg. 6600 A/B and 6700. Construction zones and laydown areas are noted on the associated maps below. Moderate noise is to be expected.
