SLO Campus Bldg 5200 HVAC Delivery Staging
Location: (SLO) Parking Lot behind Building 5200

Description: Contractor will be delivering and staging an HVAC unit in the parking lot located immediately east of the 5000 buildings complex. A crane will be utilized to place the unit into a predetermined parking stall. The area of impact is noted on the associated map. Noise and traffic from construction vehicles are to be expected.
SLO Campus Building 5200 Switchgear Shutdown

Description: The electrical contractor will shut down power to the 5000 complex for approximately two hours in order to install anchor bolts in the new transformer behind building 5200. This work is scheduled to be performed from 7 am - 9 am, Monday, March 25th.
SLO Campus Center Building 3300

Date(s) in Effect: March 26 - 29, 2024; 6AM – 3:30PM
Description: Contractor will be installing two (2) new outdoor wireless access points on building 3300. Delineators will be deployed to cordon off the area of impact. The Women’s restroom in building 3300 will be closed for the duration of the work. Some noise is to be expected.
SLO Campus Center Parking Lot 3 Concrete Pour

Description: The contractor will be pouring concrete for the new sidewalk being constructed at the northeast side of the campus center building. The contractor will use delineators to redirect traffic around the work zone. Noise is to be expected.
SLO Campus Center Building 3200 Library Electrical Monuments

Description: Contractor will be performing electrical work in the southwest wing of the library. The scope of work consists of removing and recircuiting electrical floor monuments. The area of work will be taped off and inaccessible. Please be advised that moderate noise is to be expected.

SLOCC Power Outage 5000 & 6000 Complex

Description: Contractor will be shutting down the power to the 5000 & 6000 complexes for approximately 30 minutes each beginning at 7:00am.

Description: Contractor will be installing new network and audio-visual racks in building 7300. This work will result in a complete building outage of the data network, WiFi, and VoIP systems for the duration.

Description: The contractor will begin installing campus I.D. building signs, street signs, and parking permit signs. All affected buildings/areas are highlighted in the associated map. The contractor will use cones to redirect pedestrian traffic around work zones when needed. Noise is to be expected.
